Northeast Ohio Economic Inclusion Forum Series

There’s no doubt about it.

The inclusion of minority, women (M/WBE) and historically disadvantaged (DBE) small businesses in public, private and nonprofit enterprise is vital to creating lasting, vibrant communities in Northeast Ohio.

Now, with several billion dollars in economic development, transportation and infrastructure opportunities on the table, it’s essential that our region’s economic agenda provides for the inclusion of these businesses at every turn.

We still have work to do.

The Northeast Ohio Economic Inclusion Forums are a series of events where public, private, non-profit and community foundations collaborate to discuss best practices, success stories and key challenges of economic inclusion in our region.

These forums offer the rare opportunity for influential leaders - elected officials, executives and stakeholders – to gather together and craft a framework of policies that will increase economic inclusion and generate wealth for our communities in new and exciting ways.

We want to hear from you.

What challenges have you faced as a minority, woman-owned, or historically disadvantaged business? How would you improve the status quo? Do you have a success story to share? Your thoughts and ideas will be used to create breakout sessions and inform discussions held during the forum. Attending forum executives and officials will speak to your concerns and craft policy recommendations to address your needs.

Add your contributions to the conversations below. Your input will go a long way in adding perspective and informed opinions that help drive the forum series towards actionable outcomes.

Thank you for your participation in these groundbreaking events. We look forward to sharing the results with you!
