Government Efficiency

Government Efficiency is a popular subject in Northeast Ohio as many governments struggle to maintain services with dwindling revenues. The idea is to make government as lean as possible to maintain or increase the level of service, while trimming unnecessary expenditures and keeping required costs in check. Shared services between governmental bodies has also been explored for accomplishing efficiency. Governor Kasich passed several measures to facilitate sharing and the Regional Prosperity Initiative has been campaigning for greater collaboration among municipalities to achieve government efficiency.
